Half-Staff Kansas Flags – Honoring Judge Wesley Brown
American Flags and Kansas Flags to fly at half-staff Saturday, February 11th in the state of Kansas in honor of Judge Wesley Brown.
According to the office of the governor:
Judge Brown was the oldest active federal judge in U.S. History. He was born in 1907 in Hutchinson, and earned his law degree from Kansas City School of Law in 1933. Judge Brown served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946, and was appointed to the federal bench by President Kennedy in 1962.
