Maryland State Flags to fly at half-staff today, September 6th through the day of his interment in honor of Corporal Charles B. Licato, a 14 year veteran of the Harford County Sheriff’s Office who died in the line of duty.

American Flags and Colorado Flags to fly at half-staff Friday, September 7th in the state of Colorado in honor of Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Leide William DeFusco.
According to the office of the governor:
Capt. DeFusco died Aug. 31, 2012, in the line of duty, while conducting a narcotics investigation from an aircraft in the San Isabel National Forest.

American Flags and Colorado Flags to fly at half-staff Friday, September 7th in the state of Colorado in honor of US Army Staff Sgt. Christopher Birdwell.
According to the office of the governor:
Army Staff Sgt. Birdwell died on Aug. 27, 2012, in Laghman Province, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He died of injuries sustained from small arms fire while on dismounted patrol. Birdwell was assigned to A Company, 4th Special Troops Battalion, 4th Infantry Division at Fort Carson.
