Half-Staff Missouri Flags – Honoring Harold Hollingsworth
Thursday, April 11th, 2013American Flags and Missouri Flags to fly at half-staff Friday, April 12th in Jackson and Lafayette Counties in honor of Harold Hollingsworth. Hollingsworth was an assistant chief with the Fort Osage Fire Protection District who died in the line of duty on April 7th. During his tenure with the district, Hollingsworth served as a firefighter, fire specialist, captain and assistant chief. He began his career in emergency services as a volunteer firefighter and emergency medical technician with the Lexington Fire Department in 1988.
