American Flags and Kansas Flags to fly at half-staff Friday, May 4th in the state of Kansas in honor of Kansas Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Day.
According to the office of the governor:
Since last year, Kansas has lost one Law Enforcement Officer in the line of duty. On December 9, 2011, Atchison Police Department Sgt. David Enzbrenner was killed on duty while assisting city code enforcement officers who were serving a nuisance order. Sgt. Enzbrenner was 46 years old, and a 24-year veteran of the Atchison Police Department. The 30th Annual Kansas Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony will be held on Friday at noon on the south steps of the Statehouse grounds.
Sgt. Enzbrenner’s name joins the names of 266 law enforcement officers already listed on the Kansas Law Enforcement Officers Memorial.
American Flags and Pennsylvania Flags to fly at half-staff Wednesday, May 2nd at the Capitol Complex and in Lehigh County in honor of US Army Captain Charles Barnes.
According to the office of the governor:
Capt. Barnes was listed as missing in action after contact was lost with his aircraft in Vietnam on March 16, 1969. The U.S. Department of Defense recently
announced that his remains had been identified. Capt. Barnes will be buried with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery.
American Flags and New York Flags to fly at half-staff Wednesday, May 2nd in the state of New York in honor of US Navy Lieutenant Christopher Mosko.

Lieutenant Christopher E. Mosko died while conducting combat operations in Afghanistan. He was assigned as a Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal Platoon Commander to Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force, Afghanistan. He was stationed at EOD Mobile Unit 3, San Diego, California.

Arkansas Flags to fly at half-staff Friday, April 27th in honor of Levon Helm; musician and former member of The Band.
American Flags and Connecticut Flags to fly at half-staff Tuesday, April 24th in the state of Connecticut in honor of Army Specialist Philip C.S. Schiller.

Army Specialist Philip C.S. Schiller was killed last week by small arms fire while on patrol in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Spc. Schiller was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.
American Flags and Kentucky Flags to fly at half-staff Wednesday, April 25th in the Commonwealth of Kentucky in honor of US Marine Cpl Aaron Faust.
According to the office of the governor:
Cpl. Aaron M. Faust, 22 died April 15 while supporting combat operations in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
American Flags and Wyoming Flags to fly at half-staff Tuesday, April 24th in the state of Wyoming in honor of Adam Longo. Longo was a Natrona County firefighter who died while driving a squad truck back from a fire.
