Arkansas Flags to fly at half-staff Friday, March 23rd in the state of Arkansas in honor of firefighter Captain Donald Lee Jones who lost his life in the line of duty.
American Flags and Virginia Flags to fly at half-staff Wednesday, March 21st at the Capitol Complex in Richmond in honor of US Marine Corps Captain Michael M. Quin.
Flags are also to be flown at half-staff in the following counties: County of Arlington and County of Loudoun.
American Flags and Maryland Flags to fly at half-staff Tuesday, March 20th in the state of Maryland in honor of Major Robert J. Marchanti II. Major Marchanti died February 25th, in Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
American Flags and Connecticut Flags to fly at half-staff Saturday, March 17th in the state of Connecticut in honor of Lieutenant Colonel Thomas A. Budrejko.
According to the office of the governor:
Lt. Col. Budrejko served in the Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 469 and was raised in Connecticut. He was killed on February 22, 2012 during a military helicopter training accident.
American Flags and Arizona Flags to fly at half-staff Wednesday, March 14th in the state of Arizona in honor of Arizona Supreme Court Justice Michael Ryan.
According to the office of the governor:
Justice Ryan spent 24 years on the bench as a superior court and appellate court judge. He culminated his career as a Supreme Court justice. Additionally, he was a Marine Corps veteran serving in Vietnam, and the recipient of two Purple Hearts and a Bronze Star.
American Flags and New Jersey Flags to fly at half-staff Wednesday, March 14th in the state of New Jersey in honor of Congressman Donald M. Payne.
American Flags and Colorado Flags to fly at half-staff Tuesday, March 13th in the state of Colorado in honor of US Army Staff Sgt. Jordan L. Bear.
Staff Sgt. Bear died on March 1st as a result of a gunshot. He was assigned to the 508th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, at Fort Bragg, N.C.
Wyoming State Flags to fly at half-staff Friday, March 9th at the Capitol in Cheyenne and in Platte County in honor of former State Representative Bob Grant. Mr. Grant represented Platte County in the Wyoming House of Representatives from 1983 to 1992.
American Flags and Wisconsin Flags to fly at half-staff Friday, March 9th in the state of Wisconsin in honor of Colby Firefighter Jamison Kampmeyer.
