The Cambodian flag is made up of two horizontal blue bands, top and bottom, with a horizontal red band in the center that is twice the size of the blue bands. Featured on the red band in white is the three-towered Angkor Wat, an ancient temple site dating back to the 12th century. The present flag, reintroduced in 1993 after reestablishment of the Monarchy, was originally adopted in 1948. |
